Lesson Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

Lesson Policies

With our online scheduling and billing portal, students can easily pay, cancel, book make-up lessons, and manage notifications, all right from their smartphone or computer.

Enrollment Policies

Students enrolled in lessons commit to a reserved weekly time slot, with tuition processed at the beginning of each month via debit or credit card on file. Billing is based on the number of weeks the lesson time occurs within each month, ensuring your dedicated lesson time is reserved. For example, if your lessons are on Wednesdays, your tuition will reflect the number of Wednesdays during that month.

We only bill one month at a time with no long-term commitment needed. You may see an invoice shown for the following month in our portal, but that isn’t due or required if you contact us to end lessons before that month begins.

Cancellations & Make-Ups

If a student needs to cancel a lesson, providing at least 24-hour advance notice qualifies for a make-up credit. This credit can be used to book a make-up lesson using our online scheduling portal. Any lesson can also be taken virtually, offering flexibility if a student cannot make it to the studio for any reason.

1. Lesson Cancellations

  • Regular Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are considered regular cancellations. The student will receive a make-up lesson credit.
  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or no-shows do not qualify for a make-up credit, and that lesson payment is forfeited.
  • How to Cancel: Please cancel lessons using this online scheduling portal. If you need any assistance using our portal, we’re always available by phone, text, or email.
  • Planned Absences: If you know you will miss a lesson well ahead of time (e.g., vacations), please cancel that lesson using our portal with advance notice if possible.

2. Make-Up Lesson Credits

  • Eligibility: Make-up lesson credits are issued for lessons canceled more than 24 hours in advance.
  • Maximum Credits: A maximum of 3 make-up credits may be issued to a student within any rolling 120-day period.
  • Expiration: Make-up credits are valid for 60 days from the date of the cancellation. Make-up lessons must be scheduled within these 60 days.
  • Usage: Make-up credits can only be used to schedule make-up lessons and cannot be converted into refunds.

3. Scheduling Make-Up Lessons

  • Online Scheduling: When using a make-up credit, the online scheduling portal will show your instructor’s availability over the next two weeks and may also include openings with other qualified instructors. This provides maximum flexibility to schedule make-up lessons and benefit from a range of perspectives.
  • In-Person & Online: Make-up lessons can be taken in-person or virtually for added convenience.
