Studio Booking & Deposit Policy
Recording sessions are booked by appointment only via call, text, or email.
A 50% deposit is required to book a session. This deposit covers half the cost of the session. The remaining balance is due in full at the end of each session.
A deposit reserves the studio space and compensates the recording engineer for their time. However, if cancellations occur less than 48 hours in advance, it does not give us enough time to book a replacement session with such short notice. A short notice cancellation or no-show directly harms the recording engineer's livelihood, as they've declined other paying clients and organized their entire schedule specifically around your booked session. Therefore, the deposit is forfeited to make up for the lost studio time and to compensate the recording engineer for the missed session.
If cancellations occur more than 48 hours in advance, the deposit can be applied toward a future session (one-time courtesy only).
If cancellations occur less than 48 hours in advance, the deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded.
When you book a block of studio time, both the engineer and studio space are reserved exclusively for your project during those hours. Regardless of when your primary project finishes, payment will be required in full for your originally scheduled session duration. We highly recommend bringing an extra track or creative idea to maximize your full session in case the initial project finishes early.
As a courtesy, we ask that clients arrive on time for their scheduled session. Clients are billed for the scheduled start time, regardless of what time they arrive.
